Code of Conduct
We prioritize a high-value, inclusive, low-ego and respectful environment where everyone feels inspired, excited, safe and welcome regardless of background, identity or experience.
Be respectful. Be kind. Keep PressConf professional.
Important Notes
NO A/V recordings AND no sharing details of sessions without speaker consent.
We do not tolerate physical or verbal abuse, harassment or intimidation.
If behavior crosses the clear and common lines laid out below, we will ask you to leave, likely without refund.
On Recording, Streaming & Photography
PressConf talks are special talks about The Internet because they are never meant to be on it. We DO NOT record them to allow for the most authentic stories from speakers and valuable presentations for attendees.
We will have regular reminders. Anyone taking A/V recordings in sessions will be asked to leave.
You are welcome and encouraged to take photos, compliment and react to speakers in posts online, but do not post quotes or information that isn’t clear from their public title or talk description without their explicit permission.
Examples, if you must
✅ “That session gave me a new way to think about team leadership. #PressConf”
✅ “A thoughtful, challenging discussion—thank you to the speaker. #PressConf”
❌ “The speaker revealed a confidential product launch scheduled for next month. #PressConf”
❌ “Here is a photo of the private slide and figures the speaker asked us not to share. #PressConf”
