Headshot of Lindsey Miller

Founder, My Marketing Assistant

Growing up on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma may not seem like the obvious backdrop for a communications leader, culture builder, and entrepreneur, but that is exactly where LINDSEY MILLER learned both grit and polish.

Lindsey is the Director of the Office of Science and Innovation at OCAST, Oklahoma's state agency for science and technology advancement, where she leads communications, legislative affairs, and data programs and serves as the primary strategic advisor to the Executive Director. She is also the Founder and Board Member of My Marketing Assistant, a remote marketing and communications agency she built from scratch, and previously founded and successfully exited Content Journey, a fully remote content and communications agency. Earlier in her career she spent years in political organizing and major donor fundraising before moving into the managed hosting and web technology industry. She holds a Master of Science in Human Relations and Clinical Mental Health from the University of Oklahoma and believes the best leaders find a mission worth getting behind and build the people and culture around them to make it go.

When she is not crafting the communications strategy that connects people to their work and each other, you might find Lindsey sipping a good Cabernet, whipping up a delicious meal, or planning her next European adventure, sometimes all at the same time. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband Cory, her kids Caloway and Lillian, and the cutest dogs, Bonnie and Clyde.

Lindsey's phrase to live by: "Brave Over Perfect."
